Christ's Love for Us

Most of the pictures on here I've been taking on my phone. It's easy and convenient, but then I fill my phone up! I have a problem! I'm a pathological picture taker! I absolutely love taking pictures! Forgive me if I've said this before, but I have the worst memory. My pictures help preserve all the sweet moments in my life...especially of my three loves. With all of that being said...I didn't get to two of my blog post with VBS, because I filled my phone up before I could blog! Hehe!

So, the lesson for this day was that even though we don't always make the best choices, Christ's Loves us and sent his son for us. I was going to do cross shaped Rice Krispy treats, but I ran out of supplies and as I've said before...I'm a procrastinator! The store was closed and I needed these bright and early...I had to come up with something using what I had in my pantry. Luckily I had Ritz crackers and almond bark. If you are like me, you love salty and sweet! I figured I couldn't go wrong with the two and crosses would look cute for the snack and a reminder that Christ sent his son for us.

I used a cross outline on cardstock for the little ones to fill in with tiny tissue paper squares anyway they wanted.

My little loves enjoyed making their own cross/heart crackers for breakfast! Ha! Such a nutritious mom I am!

Hoping you will enjoy this last little bit...

After VBS we went to have lunch with sweet friends. Aren't they cute?!?! Well...

Some days my Hughes Happiness feels a bit like Hughes Hell! Hehe! The best thing about it is the next day I couldn't tell you anything other than my kids are absolutely precious! You know the saying Love is Blind...it sure is with these little loves! Even though it can feel insanely crazy at times it is still my "Hughes Happiness", joy, blessing and all things wonderful!

So back to the story...This is the day I broke my phone screen because I was carrying Layla Westyn out of the restaurant because she was squeezing her juice box until it was empty all over the table, throwing chicken fingers at her sister, crawling out of the high chair to get in the booth, screaming, and pooping in her pants. As I carried her out of the restaurant (mainly because I feared letting her walk because if you know her, you know she doesn't think twice about running out into a parking lot or road) my phone fell out of my pocket. Isn't she cute though!?! Who couldn't be head over heels in love with this baby?!?!

With all of this being said, in no way is my Hughes Happiness perfect, but God has blessed me and given me joy beyond measure!
